I created Finn the Leprechaun and his frolicking friends with St. Patrick’s Day and the idea of good luck in mind. As you can see, he’s holding gold coins and a sack of money—symbols of what brings him joy.

Finn and his buddies know that good luck follows expectations. That’s why leprechauns are often shown singing, dancing, and enjoying the sparkle of their golden treasures. Seeing pictures of happy leprechauns reminds us to celebrate and expect good things.

Similarly, describing our desires in words and seeing them as pictures can raise our expectations and, in turn, shape our reality. Thoughts—a mix of words, visualizations, and feelings—fuel our behavior, which drives us toward our goals.

How to Develop Luck
and the Art of Happiness

But sometimes, we get stuck in familiar ruts, closing our thoughts to what we already know instead of staying open to new possibilities. To break free, try adding this phrase to your goals:

"I want this or something far better for my highest and best good, and that of my family, friends, neighbors, and everyone in this world beyond."

Finn practices his magic by focusing on money, having fun, and surrounding himself with images that keep his attention on what he values most.

We can do the same by creating "mood boards" that combine descriptive words, images, and emotions. A mood board is a powerful tool to clarify your desires and open your mind to new ideas. Wikipedia provides a great starting point, and a quick web search will reveal countless resources to inspire your own.

The illustrations on my T-shirts, stickers, and totes are designed to act as an active mood board—reminding you of your goals and showing others what matters to you. Many of the items I depict—like dazzling jewels, ornate vases, or vintage treasures—are things that can no longer be purchased because they are no longer made, too large for modern spaces, or prohibitively expensive in their natural form.

By owning and using things with these images on them, you can spark your imagination, celebrate beauty, stay focused on creating your happiest life, and tell others what you love.

Start visualizing your goals and see what magic unfolds!
